Page Pate is an accomplished Georgia defense attorney with fifteen years of experience and a well-earned reputation as one of Georgia's top criminal lawyers. Page was the Chair of the Atlanta Bar's Criminal Law Section in 2007, and served on its Board of Directors for several years. Page has been named a member of Georgia's Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine for 2007, 2008, and 2009, and has been listed as one of Georgia's Super Lawyers for the past several years. Page is an honors graduate of the University of Georgia Law School and Georgia State University. Page is a founding member of the Georgia Innocence Project, and an active member of the Federal Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He is a frequent commentator on criminal law for the local media and is the Legal Analyst for Atlanta's public radio station.
Bernard Brody is a talented and extremely dedicated Georgia criminal defense attorney. In 2009, Bernard was recognized as a "Rising Star" in criminal defense by the Super Lawyers' publication based on his ability to successfully resolve difficult criminal cases. Bernard is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is an honors graduate of the University of Hofstra School of Law, where he was selected to both the Law Review and the moot court team. Bernard is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Jennifer Auer Jordan is an experienced trial lawyer with an enviable track record of successful results in her representation of individuals, families, and businesses that have been injured or defrauded. Before she joined our firm, Jennifer worked for one of Atlanta's most respected litigation firms and was chosen for a prestigious clerkship with a federal district court judge. Jennifer was recently named to Georgia Trend Magazine's "40 Under 40" list recognizing the top rising stars in Georgia law, business and politics. She graduated with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law and was a member of the Georgia Law Review, the National Moot Court Team, the Joseph Henry Lumpkin Inn of Court, the Order of the Barristers, and the Order of the Coif.
Jess Johnson graduated first in his class from the University of Georgia in 2006, where he attained degrees in political science and sociology. He then graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2009. During law school, Jess focused primarily on trial advocacy and criminal defense. As a third year law student, he was elected to the Mock Trial Executive Board and was a member of three different mock trial teams.Jess was also heavily involved in UGA's Criminal Defense Clinic where he represented indigent clients accused of serious crimes in the Superior Court of Athens-Clarke County. Prior to joining Pate & Brody, Jess worked for an Athens personal injury firm which focused on negligence claims as well as victims' rights. Today, he remains committed to helping people who have been charged with crimes or harmed due to the negligence of others.
Harry D. "Donnie" Dixon, Jr. is "of counsel" to the firm and our resident attorney in Savannah. Donnie concentrates on serious criminal cases and grand jury investigations, and also assists our clients in major civil litigation.Donnie is one of the most experienced and respected advocates in Georgia. Donnie served as the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Georgia (the top federal prosecutor in South Georgia) for most of the Clinton Administration. As United States Attorney, Donnie was appointed to the Attorney General's Advisory Committee, and served on the Office of Management and Budget Subcommittee, the Environmental Crimes Subcommittee, the White Collar Crimes Subcommittee, the Healthcare Fraud Subcommittee, and the Executive Working Group. Before being appointed U.S. Attorney by President Clinton, Donnie was the District Attorney in Waycross, Georgia where he prosecuted hundreds of serious felony criminal cases.Donnie is a graduate of the University Of Georgia School Of Law, and has practiced criminal and civil law in Georgia for over 30 years. He is a member of the National Association of Former United States Attorneys, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Savannah Bar Association, the Savannah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Bar Association.
